Cladding installation
Cladding is more than just a covering – it's your home's big opening statement. The Fascia Company understands how crucial the right cladding is for your home's appearance, protection, and longevity. For over 25 years, we've helped homeowners transform their property with our stunning cladding options in a range of colours and finishes.
What is cladding?
Cladding is the material that covers the outside (and sometimes the inside) of your property. It doesn't exist for structural reasons. Instead, it protects the internal structures from the elements and enhances your property's aesthetic appeal. The most common form of cladding is uPVC and composite cladding. However other options include timber, vinyl, metal and brick. Cladding is available in a range of colours including grey, white and wood finishes.
Your home's exterior is your property's first impression. With the right cladding, it can turn even an older building into a stunning design statement that's fully protected from the outside. That’s why our cladding is expertly installed with breathable membrane and treated timber battens behind for maximum protection. Plus, cladding can boost your home's insulation, lowering your heating bills. Want to learn more? What Our Clients Say
Your Questions Answered
What is cladding installation? Cladding installation involves adding one material over another to act as a kind of skin that prevents weather damage or transforms a property's appearance. Most cladding covers the structural elements of a property, e.g., brickwork, concrete, or wooden frame. It serves as a protection against external weather conditions such as rain, snow, wind, and temperature change, safeguards the property's structure, offers additional insulation, and dramatically changes the external appearance of the building.
How much does cladding installation cost? Cladding specialists usually charge several thousand pounds to clad an entire home and the price is less to clad a single wall for the average home. However, because each property is different, the cost depends on the size of the home, the chosen cladding material and colours.
Do you offer free quotations for cladding installation? Yes. In fact, we'll send a professional external cladding installer to perform a free, no-obligation of your home to determine the best approach. We can inspect existing cladding to determine if it needs repairing or replacing, or we can measure up for a fresh, new installation.
How do you install cladding? Firstly we’ll strip the existing cladding off your home and then install a breathable waterproof membrane. This helps with ventilation and ensures the cladding is watertight. We also use new treated timber battens for structural integrity before fitting the external cladding. Every step of our cladding service uses high-quality materials for a superior finish.
Do you offer cladding replacement installation? Yes. We're highly experienced in replacing existing cladding or installing a new covering. We measure up your home, installing the new cladding so it fits tightly and snugly against your home's structure. We can even add insulation to improve your home's energy efficiency further.
Do you offer cladding replacement repair? Yes. Even the best-fitted cladding requires replacing after several decades. We can perform partial repairs or full replacements depending on the severity of the damage. Our cladding installers always perform a thorough property inspection to determine what's required.
Do you offer any guarantees or insurance? The Fascia Company is fully covered by a valid Roofing License and Insurance. We've received numerous awards for the quality of our work throughout the West Midlands. And with 25 years of experience, nobody offers better quality work.
How long will cladding replacement projects take? That depends. Our external cladding installers work hard to complete your project on time. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to clad a property, depending on its size. During the initial inspection, we'll provide you with an estimated timeline for the project.
